Maybe I’m biased.
The sexy Welsh singer helped define my fetish as I grew up. Charlotte and I are the same age. As she was starting to experiment with cigarettes, I was beginning to become increasingly attracted to girls who smoke.
I remember seeing the early pictures of her smoking printed in the tabloids that I delivered every morning before school.
In interviews she denied she was a smoker at first -she said she was just experimenting as all teanagers do.
I knew better -cigarettes are addictive you see

My favourite pictures of her was of her smoking on a beach. I first saw the pictures as I set about filling my paper bag with the morning papers on a freezing cold New Years Day.
My hands were at risk of frostbite and the sky was gloomy. In contrast, was this goddess lying on a sunny beach thousand of miles away.
I bought a copy of the paper for myself that day!

Have heard of her, but didn’t know who she was….probably in the entertainment bizz was my thought. Interesting that she is a singer and is addicted. I know Katy Perry smokes and I heard that Kesha may be doing it. Madonna certainly did back in the 80s and 90s. Not sure now as she is a health nut. As the late and GREAT George Carlin said, “Eat right, stay fit, jog and die anyway.” Thanks for the info Flamingo, I’ll have to do more research!! BTW (although they are way out of my age range), I can remember when the Olson twins started to smoke….really became noticeable when they moved to NYC.

Olson twins are also my age, and yes I remembered finding out they smoked. Never been a massive fan of them though -not as feminine (and smoked all-white cigarettes that are not as appealing as corks to me)
Yeah Katy shocked me at first, but she sure looks super. Not a big fan of the Olson twins either. Sort of skanky looking.
