One of the most sexy things is the idea of a woman lighting up a cigarette almost immediately upon waking.
She *needs* a cigarette so badly that she feels she can’t face the day, or even get up out of bed without filling her lungs with smoke and allowing the calming nicotine to wash over her still sleepy head.
I imagine lying in bed, and being woken up by the click of a lighter and the smell of fresh smoke.
Smoking first thing in the morning is a sign of true addiction and also signifies the start of nicotine metabolism….
By ‘metabolism” I mean that the body takes around 45 minutes to reduce the level of nicotine in the bloodstream by 50%. Smokers are always feeling the effects of nicotine exiting the body and spend their entire lives ensuring the level of nicotine in their blood is kept to acceptable levels. By having a cigarette first thing in the morning nicotine levels are raised quickly and the subsequent fall in nicotine levels will become more noticeable over the next few hours…leading to more cigarette breaks.
I fantasise about going away on a beautiful holiday with my smoking girlfriend. At check-in to the hotel they confirm that we have a ‘smoking’ room.
She places her cigarettes on the bedside table. Ready for when she *needs* them in the morning.
She lights up one, but quickly needs to move to cigarette number 2, so she can think straight.
Her thoughts gathered she can now begin to enjoy the day, but now her need for nicotine is re-confirmed it will only be a matter or time before nicotine levels begin to fall, and fall quickly.
