E-Cigarettes and Smoking

in Contemplation

Electronic cigarettes are becoming increasingly popular as smokers look for a way to keep getting their nicotine fix without the tar.

As a smoking fetishist who is turned on by ‘addiction’ more than anything else, electronic cigarettes have some sort of appeal. If I saw a beautiful girl sucking hard on an e-cigarette, I would get aroused. But I’m pretty sure it would not be to the same extent as if I saw a girl smoking a real cigarette.

A cigarette is a more complete experience, albeit a more dangerous one from a long-term health perspective.

At Kings Cross Station in London this summer there have been several days of  promotions for electronic cigarettes, but mostly smokers have not been interested. It has, however, resulted in some amazing sightings.

A fellow smoking fetisher, jonnysmokes, wrote the following at Smoking Fetish Kingdom:

Girl says no to e-cigs at Kings Cross Station, London

Recently I’ve been travelling to London regularly with my work. I am a ‘closet smoker’ and have been since I was old enough to buy cigarettes at 16, I’m now 23.

The City is the only place I smoke openly and get a real thrill out of lighting up outside the railway station with lots of beautiful women who are satisfying their cravings either pre or post journey.Anyway, the last few times I’ve visited the city there has been a stand outside the station entrance marketing e-cigarettes with lots of roving salespeople.

I was standing next to an incredibly glamorous girl of around my age (early to mid-twenties) with long blonde hair, immaculate makeup and a pair of pert breasts which were to die for. She was enthusiastically powering through a Marlboro Red, having just alighted the train and dashed outside for her ‘fix’ – lots of double-pumps with nose-exhales. She was talking with a brunette friend who was clearly a non-smoker. One of the salespeople, another pretty girl approached her and asked: ‘Have you ever tried an e-cigarette?’, her response thrilled me: ‘Yes but these are much better!’, she showed her burning cigarette to the girl.

The sales girl leaned close and said quietly: ‘Tell me about it! I can only ‘smoke’ these when I’m working’. She looked at her e-cig with disdain.

As if this wasn’t enough to make my day, the following conversation between the blonde and her non-smoking friend was even better! The blonde said (slightly paraphrased but you get the idea): ‘The trouble with those things is, they haven’t got any tar in them. That’s part of what I enjoy about smoking – that ‘hit’ you get in your throat and lungs when you breathe it in, those things don’t feel like anything. They’ve still got plenty of nicotine but they don’t feel good like these.’

She continued: ‘I guess that’s why I don’t smoke lights, they don’t have enough tar to give you that nice sensation.’ The blonde had finished her cigarette by this point and the girls headed off for the Tube. The last thing I heard was the brunette remarking that: ‘You make smoking sound really appealing!’

I wonder if she’ll try it…

Thanks Jonny for the great account. I’ve seen similar instances myself:  sightings of smoking girls being approached to try an e-cigarette but quickly refusing and taking a drag on their delicious marlboro lights.

Kings Cross is no stranger to me…

I’ve never seen a woman smoking an e-cigarette, but I think that she would be less attractive than if she were smoking a real one. There would be no wonderfully skilled but sensuous light-up, no cracking of paper as it burns, no ash to be seen, no sexy impurities at all apart from nicotine itself, and especially no sight of a beautiful cork-tipped cigarette in her mouth.

What would remain, for me, is the thought that an attractive woman is deriving immense satisfaction from the nicotine she’s grown to love so much. I’m sure that satisfaction would continue to express itself on her beautiful face, although she’d miss the delicious tarry taste that would have contributed to her pleasure.

I’ve only seen guys smoke them in real life…but potentially I could be turned on with them…she would have to be a smoker in real life who was just using the e-cigarette to get her through a non-smoking time.

Funny -they sell e-cigarettes on some British airlines to ‘smoke’ in the sky!!!

I’ve never seen a live sighting, but there are plenty of pics of Katherine Heigel on the boards smoking one. I’ve even seen a short clip on Letterman. If you take the danger out of it, then it no longer appeals to me. Off topic…..have you ever seen a girl chew? I have. Nasty, gross or not? Her name is Amanda and it was over 20 years ago. She was a blonde cutie a little on the heavy side, but not much. She was, how shall I say, of a “morally casual persuasion.”

The danger of smoking largely drives my fetish, too, the fascination about why a well-balanced, good-looking, sweet, sensible, academically intelligent and/or sporty young lady would take up a dangerous habit. E-cigarettes are not dangerous enough nor is the act of smoking them beautiful enough for me to take a serious interest in women “smoking” them.

Agreed -although ‘addiction’ is more appealing to me than ‘danger’ so there is potential for arousal…

Chewing is nasty. Never seen anyone chew in real life.

Any bar in Texas you’d see it as well as baseball games and Army/Marine hang outs.
